Police in drug war on ferries

A POLICE chief used sniffer dogs to search 17 ferries but found only ONE passenger carrying drugs. Chief Inspector Andrew Mosley was after smuggling gangs using the route between Gourock and Dunoon. 75th Mid Argyll Mod

THE 75th Provincial Mod in Mid Argyll will take place in the new Lochgilphead Joint Campus next Saturday (September 20) and is set to attract more than 200 people from across the country, including six senior Gaelic Choirs.
