Tells us a bit about yourself?: I was born in Inveraray and I have deep feelings for the area, not just the aesthetics, but also the heart and soul of the place.

What would you wish for the people of Inveraray and District?: I wish the people in Inveraray would give themselves a shake and realise that the future of our society depends on our kids. We should supply them with opportunities to develop themselves by providing them with good quality facilities to encourage their development. They should be able to go to school without wading through the quagmire that is the avenue, they also deserve a decent play area with equipment for the younger ones and also good quality surfaces for the development of skills required for shinty and football as well as other sports . The painting of the town is just another tourist led initiative ,like the new car park, But giving our young people a decent place to play would be an investment in them and also an investment in Inveraray itself.

At 9:10pm on 29th May 2008, Jenny McKillop said…: Thats an Idea Linda the shinty club running it and it would be of bennefit to the club as well, I think it is needing a good shake up, it was good before when there were things on every couple of weeks and there seemed to be a good community but it is not good at all at the moment there is nothing for anyone, it needs a good base of people willing to help at events not just the same ones all the time so that people can go and enjoy nights out as well as having to work or help at them , I for one would be willing to do what I can, so anything I can do to help let me know.

At 11:54pm on 27th May 2008, Jenny McKillop said…: I have to say that every time I walk down the avenue I say ,I wish hey would tar this road it would be such a pleasure to walk down it instead of wearing holes in your shoes all the time and I hope to God they are going to do the road at the Barn Brae garage as that is a nightmare.
